Christmas Caramels

Ingredients:
1 c salted butter
1 c brown sugar
1 c white sugar
1 c light corn syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 t salt
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Line pan with non-stick foil and rub with butter.
Put all ingredients in the stockput except for vanilla.
Cook on medium heat and stir consistently while scraping the bottom.
When it boils, put in the thermometer. Needs to be 248'.
Take off heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour into pans and allow to cool for 6 hours.
Cut into squares and wrap.
