Strawberry Syrup

Ingredients:
1 c water
1 c sugar
1 ½ c strawberries (or any other fruit)


Directions:
Combine water, sugar and cut up berries in a medium pot. Whisk well to dissolve sugar. Bring to a boil and reduce to medium heat. Continue to stir and boil for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and strain out the berries (if desired).
Allow to sit a little before serving. The longer it sits, the thicker it becomes.

**If you are using frozen berries, divide the water amount in half.
