Spaghetti tomato Sauce

Spaghetti (tomato) sauce

Directions:
4 T vegetable oil
1 large onion, minced
1 can crushed tomatoes ( 28 oz) 
2 c water
1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
3 leaves basil leaves
2 cloves garlic
1 t salt
1 t black pepper

Directions:
Saute onions and oil until golden brown. Add crushed tomatoes, water, paste, basil, garlic, salt and pepper. Let the sauce come to a boil, lower heat to low and stir occasionally until desired thickness. Sauce is ready when oil rises to the top. Skim off oil and serve.
