Ingredients:
2 c flour
1 t salt
1 T white sugar
1 t baking powder
5 T cold butter, cut into small pieces
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
2-3 cloves garlic
1 c milk
1 chopped green onion (OPT)
¼ c melted butter+ brush
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425’. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
Cut the butter into the dry mixture using 2 knives or pastry cutter. Add cheese and milk and mix until just combined.
Scoop mounds of dough (about ¼ c per biscuit) onto the prepared sheet and sprinkle with onions. Bake 10-12 minutes.
When they come out of the oven, gently brush melted butter on the top of each biscuit. Serve warm.
