Snickerdoodle Bars

Ingredients:

2 1/3 c flour

1 ¼ t baking powder

1 t salt

¾ c softened butter

1 ¼ c white sugar

½ c brown sugar

3 eggs

1 t vanilla

Cinnamon Filling:

1 T white sugar

1 T cinnamon

Glaze:

1 c powdered sugar

1-2 T milk

¼ t vanilla

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350’. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in bowl. In a separate bowl, beat butter until creamy. Mix in sugars. Gradually add egg mixture and vanilla until well mixed. Add in flour mixture. Place half of that batter into greased 13x9. Mix together filling ingredients and sprinkle over dough in pan. Drop remaining batter over filling. Spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely. Mix glaze items and drizzle over bars.
