Pumpkin chili

 




Ingredients: 

1 can pumpkin puree

1 c cream cheese

1 can corn, drained

2 cans Northern beans, drained

1 lb maple ground sausage, browned

1 small can diced green chilies

4 c chicken broth

1 1/2 t cumin

1 1/2 t chili powder 

1 t ground nutmeg

1/2 t pepper

1 can diced tomatoes


Directions:

Mix all ingredients, EXCEPT FOR WHIPPING CREAM, 

in a large pot or crock pot. Add whipping cream 1 hour (crock) or ten minutes (pot) to soup. Stir well. Garnish with shredded cheddar, sour cream and green onions.
