Creamed Carrots

Boil the following in water until tender, drain and then set aside. 

1.25 lbs sliced carrots

1 t salt

Saute one small onion in 1/4 c butter. 

Add: 

1/4 c flour

1 t salt 

1/8 t dry mustard 

1/8 t pepper

Stir in 2 c milk and 1/4 t celery salt. Stir until thickened. 


Later carrots, shredded cheese and sauce alternatively in baking dish. Top with breadcrumbs and bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
